Drop G?
I have a set of D’Addario strings for my 7-string that I have yet to use, and considering the scale length is near-baritone I’m thinking that a .065-.011 set should be enough to allow me to put it in Drop G, which should sound ridiculously heavy (hopefully).
The thought of fucking with that crazy-arse tremolo system puts me off a little though…
